This one was taken via cell phone, so I apologize for the bad quality… but I decided to put in another hill in the background and experimented with layering pencil over ink, which I kind of like. The ink adds the structure and the pencil softens it up a little.
And here is the finished product:) I haven’t used pencils in a long time. I think I like inkwash a little better, but that might be because I’m more accustomed to using it. This was fun for little change. My intentions were to make a place that is serene and safe and quiet. It looks like a lovely place to sleep with a cool summer breeze coming in through the window, the sounds of waves and maybe a little rumble of thunder in the distance.
