My mother in law commissioned Saint Andrew for a family friend who recently graduated from the Seminary (who is coincidentally (or not) named Andrew:) She had the original beautifully framed for him- I think that orange matting compliments the colors so perfectly!

St. Andrew was an apostle of Jesus and the brother of Peter. He and Peter were fishermen on the Sea of Galilee. He is said to have been martyred on an X shaped cross saying that he wasn’t worthy to be crucified in the same manner that Jesus had been. He is the patron of fishermen.
